While native to the St Louis area, one place that we had not yet visited (despite the lure of street corn) is Mission Taco Joint.

Boasting a unique collection of tacos, some with portobello mushrooms and duck on them, we tried one of each. We were not disappointed. And the street corn. Dear sweet LAWD the street corn.

But back to the tacos.

Each one had its own mixture of meat (or meat replacement) and veggies, including avocado, cabbage and -- you guessed it-- street corn. Definite favorites were the shrimp, duck, and habanero chicken. Despite it being dusted with habanero powder, the chicken was actually really mild compared to the chorizo sausage in another taco.

While there I had MT's take on a Paloma, made with Stiegel Radler beer and resposado tequila. Delightful, refreshing, and light. Alex indulged on Pandora's LunchBox... and of course giggled as he said the name.
